Kimberly's Center for Child Protection Our community working together to protect, serve, and advocate for Marion County's abused and neglected children

When a report of child abuse/neglect is reported to Law Enforcement or Deparment of Children and Families (DCF), the staff of Kimberly's Center Child Protection Team are then contacted, whenever appropriate, to provide services, essentially working as consultants to DCF and LE (Law Enforcement). Some of the services provided by Kimberly's Center are -

Online predators don't wait. Neither do we.

Kimberly's Center works alongside the Marion County Sheriff's Office and Ocala Police Department as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force, responding to over 1,150 CyberTips in Marion County last year alone.

When an arrest is made and if alleged child victims are identified, our work is just beginning. We provide the forensic interviews, medical care, and trauma therapy that help children begin to heal.

Child abuse is not a private family matter. It's a public health crisis — and Kimberly's Center is Marion County's frontline response.

Last year alone, our community saw over 4,500 allegations of child abuse and neglect. We showed up for 1,356 of those children with forensic interviews, medical exams, trauma therapy, and around-the-clock advocacy.

We are the unwavering voice for those who cannot yet speak for themselves. And we will not stop.
