Birckner-Raab Castle This Castle is located in beautiful Bavaria, near Laufdorf. Right. This abode was designed by me and built in 1994.

We 1st occupied the castle beginning 27 May 1994.

Well, the time will be coming soon where I have to make a decision. Actually, decision is already made. I will rent for a year in New Hampshire after SKYE crosses the " Rainbow Bridge ". At some point during that year I will make a decision to sell/not sell my house....

Turns out I'm not a " MICHELMEYER ".... The cemetery in Syracuse has it wrong. My 2nd Great Grandmother was Anna Maria BIRCKNER, born 15 Jan 1809 in Pillmannsberg, Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany....and dies in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York on 17 May 1875.

Been enjoying my home and pool since retiring 7 May. Already had 1 road trip to visit family in Springfield, Mass and today went to the movies.

Wow...humidity was stifling this a.m. @ 7. Only 72 degrees though. Pulled weeds, weed-whacked + edged. Then into the pool ! Amazing how Gatorade makes a body feel so much better. Now, what's for breakfast ?

Wow...what a way to awaken this a.m. "Woke-up" crying as Linda and Sonny were "visiting"... Was talking to Linda and petting and hugging Sonny.... Sonny was close to Linda...while Cher was very close to me. Linda crossed over in December 2011 and Sonny in Jan 1993.... My Cher crossed over in Dec 1987.
