This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We also want to recognize the incredible non-profits in our community that continue to support veterans and their families every day by providing resources, hope, connection, and care long after the uniforms are folded away. Your work makes a lasting difference, and we are grateful for your commitment to those who have served.

The Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all residents of our community by fostering philanthropy and stewarding charitable resources. We strive to identify and address the most pressing needs in our area, and to support innovative solutions that create positive, sustainable change.

Community members can make a meaningful difference by making a financial contribution to the initiative with donations supporting selected nonprofits as they provide students with the supplies and resources needed or by visiting the Amazon Wish Lists created by participating nonprofits where donors can purchase needed items to be shipped straight to the organization.

Every contribution helps strengthen these nonprofits and the important work they do throughout our community.
