Attention Ocala Chapter Members!

We’re excited to offer a scholarship opportunity for members to attend the WAI 2025 Conference in Denver, Colorado, March 27–29, 2025.

The scholarship covers your conference ticket, providing an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired by women in aviation worldwide!

Eligibility:
• Applicants must be members in good standing of Women in Aviation International (WAI).
• Applicants must also be members in good standing of the WAI Ocala Chapter.
• Applicants must provide proof of lodging reservation for the conference dates.

How to Apply:
Send us an email explaining why you want to attend the WAI 2025 Conference and include the required proof of lodging.

Happy Wright Brothers Day! Did you know this was also the date Embry-Riddle was founded? On Dec. 17, 1925, exactly 22 years after the historic flight of the Wright Flyer, barnstormer John Paul Riddle and entrepreneur T. Higbee Embry founded the Embry‑Riddle Company at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio. The following spring, the company opened the Embry‑Riddle School of Aviation.
