Join us in River Mill Park this Saturday, July 20, and experience “The Band of the Nation’s Capital!" The 257th Army Band is the official musical ambassador for the D.C. Army National Guard and we are pleased to welcome back with us again this summer.
Their concert on Saturday starts at 7pm. It's looking like lovely weather, so bring your camp chairs or blankets, and we'll see you at the park!

Occoquan’s annual RiverFest & Craft Show is the perfect kick off to summer! Over 200 artisans fill the streets of the historic district for a weekend of family fun.
In addition to great arts and crafts, there’s our Beer & Wine Garden with live concerts in River Mill Park. Families can head to Conservation Alley for performances, demonstrations, recycled crafts, eats, music, and plenty of love for the natural world. On Sunday, we’ll feature our first ever Whatever Floats Your Boat Parade!

Would you like to be an integral part of it?

VOLUNTEER!

Join the ranks of our awesome volunteer team by signing up for a shift. We’ll need lots of help on festival days and can use every set of extra hands, so bring a friend! We will provide training, lunch, and a Volunteer t-shirt. Hours for community service groups are available.

The show runs Saturday and Sunday, June 3 & 4 in Occoquan, 10am to 5pm both days. Volunteer shifts and descriptions can be found at occoquanfestivals.com/volunteer

A growing list of all the fun planned for the weekend can be found there as well. Hope you can join us!

We're going solar! The Town of Occoquan is currently carrying out a solar streetlight pilot program. Over the next month, two solar-powered streetlight models will be installed temporarily on light posts on or near Mill Street. And you get to vote for your favorite.
The lights in question are located at the intersection of Ellicott and Mill Streets as well as 404 Mill Street.
Then, take the short survey at this link www.occoquanva.gov/solar/
and thank you for your feedback!
