Volunteers Needed for the Tunnel to Towers Race!
We are looking for volunteers to help with the Tunnel to Towers Festivities (7/25/2026) and Race (7/26/2025) taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established to honor the sacrifice of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life on September 11, 2001, after running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel in full firefighting gear to the Twin Towers. Today, the Foundation continues his legacy by supporting America's heroes and their families.
The Foundation provides mortgage-free homes to the families of fallen first responders and Gold Star families, builds specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, works to combat veteran homelessness, and offers a variety of programs that support those who have sacrificed so much for our country and our communities.
By volunteering, you'll be helping make this meaningful event a success while supporting an organization dedicated to honoring our nation's heroes. It’s a wonderful opportunity to honor our heroes while giving back to our community. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles throughout the event. Every volunteer makes a difference.
