Join in on the fun and search for the Eagle's on the Boardwalk! 🦅

The eagles have landed. The question is, can your kids find ALL of them? 👀🦅

Starting Friday, Eagles on the Boardwalk turns downtown Ocean City into one big family scavenger hunt.

Grab a game card, then make your way down the Boardwalk, stopping at every participating business to find each hidden eagle. Find them all, complete your card, and take home your very own plush eagle!

And because early birds really do get the goods, the first 100 to finish also get a $5 Power Card for Fun City or Sportland Arcade.

A Boardwalk stroll just became a mission.

Ocean City Sports Complex: Project Update

On August 11, the Ocean City Mayor and City Council voted unanimously, 7–0, to move forward with a purchase contract for approximately 193 acres of property for the proposed Ocean City Sports Complex.

The selected property is located along Route 50, approximately three miles west of Stephen Decatur High School, and was identified following an extensive evaluation of more than 100 potential properties.

This decision marks an important step forward, but it does not mean every aspect of the project has been finalized. Planning and due diligence will continue in partnership with the Maryland Stadium Authority, including work related to design, traffic and access, infrastructure, operations, community use, and other considerations.

The Mayor and City Council also reaffirmed that Ocean City property tax will not be used to fund the project. The Town intends to utilize occupancy tax revenue to support the project while continuing to work with the Maryland Stadium Authority on funding.

We recognize that a project of this size generates questions, interest, and differing perspectives. Ocean City is committed to providing factual information, sharing updates as the process moves forward, and creating opportunities for continued community engagement.
