Our Well 4 is fully operational. New motor, wiring and breaker.
Thank you to those who conserved water during such a heat wave. We wound up not having to open the interconnect with Aqua.
Thank you to Greg DePaul and our Public works employees who worked 24 hours straight between the parade and monitoring the pressure and tank water levels until restoration this morning.

On behalf of myself and the Borough Council, I would like to thank all those who braved the extreme heat and once again made our 4th of July parade the envy of every town!!

The Convenience Center will be open to except branches, etc this Sunday, July 12th,
10:00 - 12:00 & 12:30 - 4:00.

UPDATE on our well.
The motor burnt out, all else appears ok. Emergency crew will be here first thing tomorrow to replace motor and triage the rest of the system.
Unless there is a hidden problem, Well 4 will be back up and running by tomorrow evening.
We are very lucky to have an incredibly competent water operator, Greg DePaul.
His experience, contacts and just plain competence is just amazing.

Due to the storm, we had a major problem at one of our two wells last night. The electric panel melted down and will need a major repair. We are pumping from the other smaller well and have notified Aqua Water company that we may need to open the interconnect we have with them.
Because of the situation, please be conservative with your water usage.
Between our remaining well, and our backup with Aqua we are in good shape for supply.
We just need to conserve where possible until we are fully operational.
I will continue to update as I have more information.
