My amazing next door neighbor Carol took her weedeater to my yard and cleaned it up fully, a few weeks ago a neighbor at the end of the block mowed it, and neighbors around the corner worked on it. Do I live in an amazing place? It is because of neighbors and friends here that I am still alive and getting stronger every day. I can hardly wait to say I am 80 in a little over 3 mo. In addition as if all that work wasn't enough, Carol brought me this gorgeous bouquet.

I am once again in writing mode and it isn't winter shut in time,,,surprise ....I am happy to be working on my books. I have one that is set in Ireland and I hope to go there someday. I watch youtube videos of hikers and travelers to see the terrain so I can describe it better. Research tells me at the time of the story...8th century there were heavily forested areas up to the coast, mostly of Oaks and the people were known for the ships they built out of them ...having lots of fun with this one. The story is fantasy and adventure fo a bit older younun's this time.Here is a hint in pic form from my Funny Dragon's ABC's book

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR KITCHEN COUNTERS:
Fill a gallon size water bottle with water for use on the deck plants.
Lift it out of the sink after filling It will feel heavy.
Just as you get it level with the counter lose your grip and watch it fall spilling a cascade of water reaching under everything ...appliances, tools, chopping board and anything else you have placed there, hopefully no paper towels or napkins. It will spread to the wall before you can stop it, but if you are quick, you can get a towell and keep the flow limited to the counter If not, prepare yourself fo a clean floor....If you enjoyed this epic adventure in cleaning, subscrbe for more of my senior cleaning hints.
