We had a marvelous time at the second annual Corgi Beach Party held this past weekend. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Bruce Rittenhouse, whose vision and leadership made the event possible; to everyone who came out to watch our furry friends cavort and compete; to all who helped us restock the food bank’s pet food shelves; and, of course, to those delightful, endlessly charming corgis who stole the show and our hearts.

The Ocean Shores Corgi Beach Party, a fundraiser for the Ocean Shores Food Bank, returns for its second year tomorrow, August 22, 2026, from 9 am to 2 pm. Expect a beach full of short-statured four-legged dynamos participating in fun competitions such as corgi-themed costume contests, fluffiest corgi, and hilarious corgi beach races. These energetic, bossy, and irresistible dogs bring a lot of wriggling butts and wagging tails to Ocean Shores, making this fun-filled, family event a must-see on the coast for all to enjoy.

Whether you have a corgi, love a corgi, or just want to soak in the joy of watching a beach full of stumpy-legged corgis with big personalities, this event is for you! This event is open to all – no corgi required to attend – to enjoy a summer day at the beach and help the Ocean Shores Food Bank. Corgi Beach Party will be sure to put a smile on your face and love in your heart.
