It’s going to be a busy Fat Tuesday for our Soccer Hounds! The Lady Greyhounds take on Northwest Rankin for South State in Brandon, and the Men will host the Biloxi Indians at home with a trip to the State Championship on the line!

The OSSD Board of Trustees voted Tuesday night to name Justin Sutton as OSSD's next Superintendent, effective July 1st.

Sutton moves into the superintendent role after serving as OSSD’s Assistant Superintendent since July 2025. In his current position, Sutton oversees the district’s curriculum and instruction initiatives, as well as the overall academic performance of the district. After more than 13 years in school administration and 11 years with OSSD, Sutton is excited to take the helm of one of Mississippi’s highest-performing school districts.
