We are horrified by the deadly shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother and U.S. citizen, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent during enforcement actions in Minneapolis yesterday. Videos and eyewitness accounts show federal agents aggressively surrounding her vehicle and firing multiple shots at close range—raising serious concerns about the use of force and accountability in this operation.
This tragedy is yet another example of how unchecked federal enforcement tactics can cost innocent lives and tear at the fabric of our communities. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we contact our elected representatives and demand oversight, humane immigration policies, and protections for civil rights.
