Her tenure was marked by unwavering dedication, steadfast leadership, and a profound commitment to the unit's mission and its soldiers. As she steps down from her role, her legacy of excellence and integrity will undoubtedly endure, serving as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of serving alongside her. With Command Sergeant Major Kowalkowski assuming the mantle of leadership, the brigade is poised to continue its tradition of excellence under his capable guidance.

As she embarks on a new journey and transitions to a new unit, it is with mixed emotions that we reflect on the profound impact she has had during her tenure here at 1394th TSB.
In her role as Transportation Supervisor, MSG Zamudio has demonstrated exceptional leadership. Her ability to strategize, plan, and execute complex operations has been instrumental in our unit's effectiveness. She has been the guiding force behind our mission planning and readiness, ensuring that every detail is meticulously addressed.

As a highly skilled warrant officer, she plays a vital role in logistics planning and coordination of the movement of Army equipment, resources allocation, compliance and readiness, and is often the liaison with external agencies.

1394th TSB embraced the holiday spirit this month! Members of the unit volunteered at one of San Diego’s leading hunger relief and food rescue organizations⎯ Feeding San Diego. Also, this time each year, 1394th TSB puts on a unit holiday party for the Soldiers and their families. This event allows the Soldier’s families to meet their fellow comrades and enjoy various holiday activities. Thank you to the representatives from Military OneSource and the Yellow Ribbon Toy Drive for their contribution in the success of this event. Happy Holidays!

Congratulations to Sergeant First Class Kevin Maddox on his retirement from the U.S. Army after 33 years of service! SFC Maddox served in our S-6 Section, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and supervision of all automations and signal support systems as well as the ex*****on of any technical assistance the unit may need. 1394th Transportation Surface Brigade recently bid farewell to Staff Sergeant Jasphet Del Rio.

During his time here at 1394th TSB, SSG Del Rio served as our HHD Human Resources Sergeant. He was responsible for providing administrative support conducive to the Soldiers' overall welfare and well-being, while assisting leaders with keeping Soldiers combat-ready and effective.

SSG Del Rio will be transferring to the 633rd Quartermaster Battalion in Ohio as he continues his career in the Army.
