Applying for a rental can get expensive fast once screening fees pile up across multiple listings. Oceanside's Rental Application Fee Assistance Program reimburses up to $64.50 per household member (18+) for those costs — available up to three times per household, with priority given to very low-income Oceanside applicants. The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) Climate Prediction Center now puts the odds of a very strong El Niño above 90% for this fall and winter. Oceanside is already preparing.
