The NC-LGBTQ Resource Center is proud to serve our local trans* and intersex community through the Gender Advocacy Project (GAP), conceptualized in October 2014 as a committee that oversees various programs including support and social groups, putting on events such as Trans* Day of Empowerment and Remembrance, collaborating with local health providers to provide trans*-inclusive health care, and

educating individuals both within and outside the community regarding trans* current events.
