American Legion Auxiliary 146 For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

Founded in 1919, The American Legion Auxiliary has almost 1 million members from all walks of life. The Auxiliary administers hundreds of volunteer programs, gives tens of thousands of hours to its communities and to veterans, and raises millions of dollars to support its own programs, as well as other worthwhile charities familiar to Americans. Our unit president, Sandee Brookins presented our donation today to STEP in support of military personnel onboard the USS Bonhomme Richard which burned last week in San Diego to help them replace needed personal items which were destroyed in the fire. Thank you ladies for approving our donation, our Poppy Fund's at work!

One of our own members Lorna De La Cruz working with our Homeless in San Diego. Congratulations on all your hard work. Lorna comes from a long time Military Family with her dad stationed at Camp Pendleton back in the 60's. All 4 of the De La Cruz children served there country.
