There was serenity in Berrien County Friday , I have to admit my mind drifts coming up on that spot to days of unruly behavior . Hearing the new Holy Land Farm was built over , in and around the old boggin’ , just didn’t make sense to me . The mile and a half down that old dirt road brought back so many memories. Until you pull through the massive gates that send an immediate message there is power there. There will be no ill will on this anointed land. You may burst into tears when you first enter, it may happen as you peer through the fences at the black Angus scattered across pastures of green. The feeling may become too strong to fight as the road winds uphill to reveal the most pristine lil chapel of carefully chosen carved wood and stained glass. If by some chance your heart hasn’t felt the spirit of God at that point you will soon see the 65 foot cross reflecting in the water , if you are truly blessed that day it could be lit and framed by an entire sky with all the hues of heaven . The hardest struggles and deepest pains can be left along the path that winds through dozens of live oaks , the keepers of time and shelters from the storm. However on this day there was the moaning of angels reverberating through the very beams of the chapel and we were blessed to be a part of something bigger than business, larger than position and free of negativity . All people willing to just rest there in God’s glory . We were a community of believers brought together in a three county effort to bring awareness to those in need of rest . Jason Womack … the Berrien, Irwin and Tift County Chambers of Commerce were privileged to share this day with you and those who obeyed God’s purpose for this dirt. Where once so many were lost , even more are now found . Tammy and I are honored to call you member , friend , and mostly brother in Christ . Continued prayers for lives to retreat, rest and be restored . Praying for every door to open for his will to be done.
