Cold drinks, live music, and giving back to our community. 🍻✨

Huge thanks to the 16 Rotarians and spouses who stepped up to pour beer and seltzer at the Village Green Beer Garden this past Saturday! The weather was perfect, the music was incredible, and the crowd made it a night to remember.

A special shoutout and thank you to the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to be part of such a fantastic community event—consider us an enthusiastic YES every time!

Every dollar raised goes directly into our Club’s Endowment Fund—ensuring our local scholarships and annual support stay funded forever, so we can set our sights on even bigger community projects in the future.

Every kid deserves the simple joy and pure freedom of riding a bike. 🚲✨

That’s why we’re especially proud that proceeds from this year’s Oconomowoc Rotary Bike Tour will directly support Variety - the Children's Charity of Wisconsin and their incredible Freedom Program.

Variety provides customized, adaptive bikes and mobility equipment to children with special needs—giving them independence, confidence, and the ability to ride right alongside family and friends.

🌱 Empowering Youth Mental Health
We had the privilege of hearing from Dee Marincic about THRIVE TOGETHER, a pioneering organization leading youth mental health prevention in Wisconsin. Through evidence-based programs and 25 licensed clinicians, they’ve already reached over 10,000 youth to build resilience and social-emotional skills. Learn more at thrivetogetherwi.org!

🏄‍♂️ Supporting Local Impact
A big shoutout to Rotarian Cris Rosario! Cris presented a donation check from the proceeds of the Midwest Paddle Festival—Wisconsin's longest-running SUP event—to President Becky Hammer and Rotary Foundation President Leslie Olson. Thank you for your continued dedication, Cris!

The annual summer pontoon outing provided a stunning setting sun, light breeze and great company Monday when we set sail from Shorehaven on Lac La Belle. The Shorehaven Service League Pavilion provided a party spot before boarding, and appetizers, desserts, beverages and birthday cake was shared. The Oconomowoc Rotary Bike Tour is back for 2026, with routes planned for every skill level. Bring the whole family or assemble your weekend cycling group—it’s going to be a great day on the trails!

❤️ New in 2026: Your participation directly supports the Variety of Wisconsin Freedom Program, providing children with special needs the mobility and enabling equipment they need to gain independence and fully participate in community life.

We had a blast last night assisting Shorehaven residents with summer Bingo, as a dozen Rotarians and more than 40 residents gathered to compete. Rotary plays Bingo several times a year, recognizing community seniors for building the community we thrive in today.
