The Friends of the Oconomowoc Public Library will have their yearly General Membership meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd at the Library starting at 6:30pm. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Friends group - the Friends Board, purpose, fundraising and volunteer needs. This meeting is open to all interested community members.

Please consider donating used books to OPL Friends Fall Used Book Sale. Your donations can be dropped off at the Oconomowoc Public Library during library hours. You can check our criteria for books before heading to the Library.
The Fall Used Book Sale will be held Friday, October 9-11. Friends members can shop early on Friday.
Volunteers will be needed to move books out of storage, sort books on Wed October 8th and during the sale. Watch for volunteer sign-up information.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Thank you for participating in our recent fundraiser on Friday, July 31st at Panera. The Oconomowoc Public Library Friends organization brought in $202.18 of which we're donating $60.65 back to you.

Jennie Fidler - OPL Special Services Coordinator - is looking for Friends' volunteers to help with the OPL booth at the Farmers Market this summer. The booth is manned by a staff member and a volunteer - promoting the library and providing a craft for kids.

Our Spring Used Book Sale was a great success.
Our Co-Chairs for the sale - Jen C and Sue B spent many, many hours working to ensure everything went smoothly.
Now it's time to think about our Fall Sale. Please check our book donation criteria list before donating.

The books have been sorted and are ready for the OPL Friends Used Book Sale this weekend.
Thank you to all of the volunteers who moved books on Tuesday and sorted on Wednesday. We couldn't do this without you.
Our book sale Co-Chairs Jen C and Sue B work hard all year to ensure successful Spring and Fall sales.
