Beach Dock and Basketball Hoop Notice
Please Help Us Protect Our Public Parks and Beaches
A portion of the beach dock will need to be removed due to intentional damage to the dock. The police have been notified and are currently looking into the situation.
In addition, the basketball hoops on the Westside of town have been damaged and have had to be repaired/replaced five times. Repeated vandalism and intentional damage to public property come at a significant cost to the community. These expenses take away valuable resources that could otherwise be used to maintain and improve our parks, beaches, and other community amenities.
We ask everyone to please help us take care of these shared spaces. Our parks, beaches, and recreational facilities belong to all of us, and keeping them safe and in good condition is a community effort.
Thank you for helping us protect and preserve our public spaces for everyone to enjoy. To report an incident call the Oconto Falls Police Department at 920-846-4500, if Officers are out on Patrol will ring to Oconto County Dispatch.

Scam Alert 📞⚠️

The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office is receiving reports of a scam in which someone is contacting individuals about a relative who is incarcerated. The scammer is sending mug shots of incarcerated individuals and providing "instructions" for bond payments. These calls or texts can sound convincing because the scammer may use the incarcerated person’s name or other real information, including their photo. This is a SCAM.

🚫 The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office will never call to request money for someone’s release, bond, or placement on monitoring.
🚫 We do not accept payment through gift cards, apps, or over the phone in this manner.

If you receive one of these calls:
🔹 Do not send money or provide personal information
🔹 Hang up immediately
🔹 Report the call to our office or your local law enforcement agency

Oconto County 4-H is hosting a hands-on Food & Fun Day Camp! Kids will learn basic cooking, food safety, and nutrition while prepping a tasty snack each day. No prior cooking experience—or 4-H membership—required!
