HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. WALTER TAYLOR!
Join us in celebrating Oconto Falls High School Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor, Mr. Walter Taylor, for receiving a spectacular and well-deserved honor! He was recently awarded the 2026 NORTA Oconto Falls Teacher of the Year Award (The Richard T. Lowery Educator of Excellence Award).
Here is what makes this award so special:
🗳️ Voted by the Best: This prestigious honor is voted on entirely by the retired teachers of the Oconto Falls School District—the individuals who know exactly what it takes to leave a lasting impact on our schools.
🤝 A Special Presentation: NORTA members Sally Holtz (OFES) and Sherry Jagiello (OFES) caught up with Wally at a recent staff gathering to officially present him with his certificate.
Thank you, Mr. Taylor, for your tireless dedication to our students, our agriculture program, and the entire Oconto Falls community. We are incredibly proud to have you leading the way! GO PANTHERS!

From fresh produce and homemade baked goods to handmade crafts, specialty products, live music, and food trucks — there will be something new to discover every week! 💚

Things to also keep in mind:
- Pets are not allowed at Memorial Field or within the Farmers Market.
- We live in a colder climate, where growing dates run later. Produce may be limited to start out the season.
- Purchasing from our vendors ensures their return. If you love having the market in our community, then we must support it! Please consider doing your weekly household shopping on Tuesdays nights, and offsetting your list after with a trip to the store!

🎸 Tomorrow’s Kickoff Night will feature live music by Jimi Anderson from 4PM–8PM!

⚠️‼️ Heads Up! Work on the bridge is scheduled to begin June 15th!

***Hwy CC/N Maple Ave Bridge Construction Notice***
Oconto County Highway Department will be doing pavement rehabilitation on the CTH CC / N Maple Avenue bridge over the Oconto River in the City of Oconto Falls. The road construction on the bridge is schedule to start on June 15, 2026, and will continue through the end of August. The road and bridge will remain open to single-lane traffic during construction with the use of temporary traffic signals. Pedestrian traffic will also remain open.
