I have a couple things I'd like to throw out there for consideration. We live on the strip between Bitters Ave and Cty Rd S. A couple weeks ago the ditch on the east side of Superior was cut down. I spoke with a few neighbors and we all were upset it got cut. There were many wild flowers and little animals/butterflies that went to that natural area for food and shelter. Can we request not to have that cut next year? The west side of Superior was cut here and there, but not completely, and with it being a straight away, I would think this wouldn't be an obstruction for traffic at all. Which brings me to my next question. How would we go about putting in a suggestion to lower the speed limit to remain 25mph out to where Superior meets Cty S? It may not have been an issue for years, but along this area now there's new neighbors with young children that the school bus drops off. As I worked in my garden over the summer, almost every day there were young kids on bikes, older people walking, people walking pets and in general a lot of positive activity along here. We all have pets and/or small farm animals that we enjoy being outside with. In general, there's just a great group of neighbors in this little area! :) With that being said, there is concerns of the flow of traffic through here. Myself, being on the corner of Bitters, sees traffic moving from both ways almost always 40-50mph. Sometimes even faster. It's becoming a concern so I'm wondering if we can get some feedback or suggestions. Thank you so much.
When is the next bulk recycling day?
You probably are already aware of this, but if not I wanted to let you know. One of the already troublesome culverts on Muck Rd (N Park) appears to have been caught by the plow during the storm this week. It has left a large, deep hole in the middle of the road.
Who is the best person to talk with in the Town of Little River about a few issues?
