Blacktopping has begun on Woodview RD. Please avoid this area-there are lots of workers and trucks coming in and out.

Public Notice – Woodview Road Project

The Town would like to inform residents and motorists that blacktopping operations on Woodview Road are tentatively scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Work will begin at Hogsback Road and proceed east toward Hwy 41.

During construction, Woodview Road will be closed to through traffic but will remain open to local traffic only. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time, as delays may occur.

Please note that the construction schedule is weather-dependent and may change if conditions warrant.

The Town appreciates your patience and cooperation as these important roadway improvements are completed.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town of Little River Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of the Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan. The public hearing will be held as part of the Town of Little River Town Board meeting on September 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Little River Town Hall, 3627 County A. The Town of Little River Town Board may take action following the public hearing on the proposed adoption of the Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan.

The proposed comprehensive plan contains revised inventory and analysis of the town’s physical setting, demographics, housing, community facilities, transportation facilities, and land uses. With assistance from the Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission, the Town of Little River developed the proposed comprehensive plan that describes how the Town of Little River envisions its development and preservation of land in the town during the next 20 years. The proposed plan includes goals and actions as well as land use strategies depicted on a Future Land Use Map.

The proposed Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan is available for review at the following:

• Little River Town Hall, 3627 County A; and
• The proposed Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan is also available online at the following website: https://town-of-little-river-comprehensive-plan-baylakerpc.hub.arcgis.com

Written comments on the proposed comprehensive plan should be submitted to the Town of Little River at Town Hall or email Amy Peterson, Town Clerk, [email protected] before September 16, 2026. All written comments will be forwarded to the Town of Little River Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and Town Board.

August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary Information
In a Partisan Primary you may only vote ONE party. The goal of this election is to narrow down the number of candidates that will advance to the General Election ballot on November 3rd.
In the Partisan Primary:
- You may vote in only ONE party’s primary
- If you choose a party, votes cast in that party will be counted. Votes cast in any other party will not be counted
- If you do not choose a party, and you vote in more than one party, no votes will be counted
You must vote for individual candidates.
To choose a party in which to vote you will fill in the oval next to your party choice under the Party Preference Section of the ballot. Choose only ONE.

Parking info for this morning

2026 Little River Fire Department Breakfast parking will be on the east side of Hogsback Road. Hogsback rd will be closed to south bound traffic . So turn off County A , park on right or east side , exit going north on Hogsback .
