Odenton Day is back in 2023! This annual event will be held on Saturday October 7th, 2023 from 9 AM til 2 PM at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company. This event combines the Fire Prevention Week Open House at the fire company with a community fair in the hall. The community fair is open to any non-profit organizations to recruit & promote their groups, as well as local businesses to promote & sell their product & services, and to local talent to perform on stage.
In addition Odenton Day offers free food, entertainment, and bus tours of historic Odenton.
To participate in the Odenton Day community fair, please contact Bruce McPherson at [email protected] to reserve a table for your organization, business, or performers.

To kick off our annual Santa Claus Runs through Odenton neighborhoods, our annual Odenton Christmas Tree lighting will be held on Saturday December 4th from 5 PM to 6 PM at the old bank building behind the Odenton MARC train station at 1402 Odenton Road on the west side of the tracks. There is plenty of free parking. We will have carol singers and the grand opening of Mildred's 1402 Coffee House featuring coffee drinks and hot chocolate. https://mildreds1402.com/
Santa & Mrs. Claus are expected to arrive by fire truck around 5:15 and will sit with the kids for pictures after lighting the tree. Bring the kids for this traditional family Christmas event. The event is sponsored by the Odenton Heritage Society, the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company & the Greater Odenton Improvement Association.

Due to the decision of the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company of the risks still associated with large gatherings, Odenton Day has been cancelled for 2020. We hope to see everyone again next year.

There is no charge for non-profit groups. For businesses there is a $50 donation which will benefit the community services of the sponsors. Political candidates are also welcome. This is a good opportunity to reach the community and gain new members or customers while learning about Odenton. Hope to see you there.

The annual Odenton Christmas Tree lighting will be on Saturday, December 1st at 5 PM at the Odenton MARC train station (west side) in front of the White Rabbit Coffee shop.

We will have caroling, refreshments, the tree lighting, and a visit from Santa Claus arriving by fire truck. Santa will stay for pictures with the children.

This event has become an annual Odenton Christmas tradition for the whole family. Hope to see you there.

We are looking for a Santa Claus to help with our annual Odenton Christmas Tree lighting event the first or second Saturday in December at the Odenton MARC station. Without Santa we will have to cancel the event.
