🎒✏️ A HUGE thank you to the Newk’s Waugh Chapel community!

You came through for our Back-to-School Supply Drive in a BIG way!

Thanks to your generosity, students at Odenton Elementary and Nantucket Elementary will head into the new school year with extra supplies and lots of community support behind them.

And the outpouring was so great, we decided to choose TWO Newk’s gift card winners! 🎉 Congratulations to Paul B. and Sue K.!

Now that we’ve met our teachers, there’s only one thing left to do before school starts on Monday! Join us at the school this Sunday from 4-5 pm to create a fun, welcoming walkway for students and staff to arrive to on the first day of school. See you there!

Don’t forget to stop by and say hi to the PTA board members and drop off any classroom donation items at Sneak a Peek today! New students will join us from 2-3 pm while all returning students are welcome to visit their classrooms between 3-4 pm. Whenever you finish, feel free to mingle with other families and enjoy a popsicle on the playground until 5 pm. See you there!

🎉 Back-to-School is almost here! 🎉

We’re so excited to welcome our OES students and families back to Sneak a Peek at Your Seat on August 20!

📚 After you’ve met your teacher, don’t rush home! The Odenton Elementary PTA will be hosting an additional Popsicles on the Playground from 3:00–5:00 PM. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to play, parents to connect, and new friendships to begin before the first day of school.

🎒 While student school supplies have already been purchased, we’d love your help supporting our amazing teachers! The PTA will be kicking off a school-wide classroom supply drive, with a collection box available during Sneak a Peek at Your Seat. Donations will be shared across classrooms to help ensure every teacher has the supplies they need for a successful school year. We hope to collect the following:

💙Paper towels
💙Hand sanitizer
💙Liquid Hand soap
💙Boxes of tissues
💙Bandaids
💙Clorox wipes
