A few storms may become strong to severe across portions of the Permian Basin and Lower Trans Pecos late this afternoon and evening. The greatest potential for severe storms will be across the eastern and northern Permian Basin with damaging winds being the primary threat.

Ector County Environmental Enforcement needs your help.

This black pickup truck and trailer were caught on camera illegally dumping furniture and debris in our county. This is a violation of state law, and we are actively working to identify the person responsible.
