πŸ’šπŸ’›Commitment Starts Here!πŸ’›πŸ’š

Ms. Roman’s 4th grade class proudly signed their classroom commitment to uphold Noel Elementary’s expectations: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.

By putting their names on this pledge, these students are choosing to make positive decisions, treat others with kindness and respect, and take responsibility for their learning and actions. We are excited to see them live out these commitments and make a difference in our school every day!

πŸ“šβœοΈ Annotating Like Experts! βœοΈπŸ“š
Our 5th grade students are actively engaging with their stories by annotating important details, analyzing characters, and tracking key events. They are learning to slow down, think deeply, and use the text to support their ideas. πŸ“πŸ”

We love seeing our readers thinking, questioning, and making meaning from what they read! πŸ’šπŸ“–

Please help us congratulate our Teacher of the Month, Ms. Miranda, and our Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Luna! πŸŽ‰

Ms. Miranda is an outstanding 3rd grade teacher who consistently goes above and beyond for her students and colleagues. She is always willing to help her grade-level team and support new teachers as they learn and grow. In addition, she has worked incredibly hard helping get our school beautifully decorated and ready to welcome students and families. Her dedication, positive attitude, and teamwork make a lasting impact on our school community.

We would also like to recognize Ms. Luna, our amazing secretary, as Staff Member of the Month. Ms. Luna keeps our office running smoothly with her hard work, kindness, and helpful spirit. She is always ready to assist staff, students, and families with a smile and goes above and beyond to support everyone around her. Her dedication and positive attitude make her an invaluable part of our school family.

Congratulations, Ms. Miranda and Ms. Luna! Thank you for all you do to make Noel Elementary a wonderful place to learn and grow. πŸ’š πŸ’›

πŸŒŸπŸ“š All About Me! πŸ“šπŸŒŸ

Our students have been busy sharing what makes them special through their β€œAll About Me” assignments! ❀️

We love seeing their personalities, interests, families, favorite things, and creativity shine through their work. Activities like these help our students learn more about one another while building a strong sense of belonging in their classrooms.

Every Longhorn has a story, and we are proud to celebrate what makes each of our students unique! πŸ’™

Our 5th grade scientists had a great time in the lab completing Density Observation Stations. Students rotated through hands-on stations where they made careful observations, compared different materials, and explored how density affects whether objects sink or float.

It was awesome to see our students asking questions, making predictions, discussing their observations, and using evidence to explain what they noticed. Hands-on learning makes science come alive! 🧠✨

We are building curious, confident scientists one investigation at a time! πŸ”¬πŸ’™

Our 5th grade scientists are building constellation models using marshmallows and spaghetti noodles! 🍝⭐️

Students are learning how scientists and engineers use scale models to represent objects and ideas that are much larger or farther away than we can easily observe. What a fun and creative way to bring science to life! πŸš€πŸŒŒ
