As police officers, we are always willing to help the people in need and we are willing to hear any of your public safety concerns.

The Professional Police Officers’ Association of Odessa (PPOA) is a fraternal organization made up of dedicated Odessa Police Department officers, united in service, support, and advocacy for one another and the community we protect. Functioning as a non-profit association, the PPOA of Odessa uses its funds collected from membership dues for a variety of purposes:

Donations to various charities;

Scholarship awards;
Organizing fund raisers to benefit officers and their family members in times of need; and
Conducting educational presentations to raise awareness in certain issues among the public such as the “Txt. The PPOA provides us with a forum to voice the problems within our city and come up with solutions to make the City of Odessa a better place to live for everyone.

A familiar tradition is getting a new name and a fresh look. The PPOA of Odessa’s annual Date Night is officially becoming the 2026 PPOA GALA BENEFIT!

Join us for a semi-country formal evening at Legends H***y Tonk Saloon — think boots & blazers, denim & diamonds, dresses & cowboy hats. Come dressed up, West Texas style!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, played, supported, and helped make this tournament such a success! With such a great turnout, we were able to make around $4,000 in profit for PPOA! 🙌💙

🚒❤️ **HONORING THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF LIEUTENANT ISAI HUERTA** ❤️🚒

Lieutenant Isai Huerta dedicated his life to serving others. He answered the call when people needed help most, serving the Odessa community with courage, compassion, and honor. While his watch has ended, the impact he made on countless lives will never be forgotten.

On June 22nd, we invite the community to come together to celebrate Isai's life, share memories, and support the family he loved so much.

W**e Bags is officially BACK and y’all showed out in a big way! We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our PPOA nights like this don’t happen without this community behind us.

A big shoutout to all of our purse models — y’all brought the energy and made the night what it was! 👏
