CASA of the Permian Basin Area provides advocacy for children in the foster care system from Crane, Ector, Loving, Ward and Winkler Counties in Texas. CASA Volunteers are compassionate, committed, everyday people - teachers, businessmen and w

omen, retirees, stay-at-home parents and grandparents. CASA Volunteers undergo extensive training prior to working with a child, ensuring they are well-equipped to serve as a voice for abused and neglected children. Unfortunately, there are many abused and neglected children in the Permian Basin Area without a CASA Volunteer. 🎀✨ A Little Something Special for Our CASA Girls! ✨🎀

We are sending a HUGE thank you to an incredibly thoughtful donor who blessed our CASA kids with the cutest hair care kits! 💕 From fun and useful hair accessories to sweet seasonal items, each kit was put together with so much thought and care.

For a child in foster care, something that may seem small can mean so much. Having items that are their very own can bring a little comfort, confidence, normalcy—and, of course, some FUN! 🌸🎀✨

We are continually amazed by the generosity of our community and the many ways you choose to show our CASA kids that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

This week, one of our advocates shared a moment that made everyone laugh:
During a visit, a child proudly announced,
“I’m going to be president… but only on Fridays because Mondays are too much.”

🩵Because of this incredible community effort, we received so many pairs of shoes AND socks for children of all ages! 🧦👟

🩵These may seem like everyday necessities, but for the children we serve, having a new pair of shoes that fits can mean comfort, confidence, dignity, and one less thing to worry about.
