Today, the Ector County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1 was proud to participate in an emergency evacuation and reunification drill at Noel Elementary in partnership with Ector County ISD and other local first responder agencies.

These drills help ensure everyone—students, staff, and responders—can work together quickly and calmly during a real emergency. Training like this strengthens communication, improves coordination, and helps us keep our community prepared.

Thank you to ECISD staff and campus leadership for hosting, and to all participating agencies for their teamwork and professionalism. We appreciate the families and community members who supported the process while we practiced safety procedures.

Today, we honor and remember Deputy Constable Aaron Armstrong.

Pictured here is our own Deputy Constable Edgar Valenzuela alongside Sheriff’s Deputy Michelle Borgne, standing in solidarity as they attended Deputy Armstrong’s funeral service. Their presence represents the deep respect, unity, and brotherhood shared among law enforcement agencies.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Deputy Armstrong’s family, friends, and fellow officers. His service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🕊️💙
