Bump, set, spike!

September is serving up some fun at Sherwood Park.

Our Adult Sand Volleyball League has officially kicked off, with more than 15 teams hitting the courts every Tuesday night from 7–10 PM through October.

Fall Sand Volleyball brings together competition, community and an active night.
The courts are set and there’s plenty more action to come this fall!

Movie Night at Ratliff Ranch!

People of all ages turned out tonight at Ratliff Ranch Golf Links for a fun-filled evening under the West Texas sky! Families enjoyed yard games before settling in for a free outdoor showing of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

It was a great night to bring the community together for some family fun at one of Odessa’s beautiful outdoor spaces!

Friday Night Flicks brought the Odessa community together at Juan Alvarez Ramirez Park!

Residents of all ages gathered under the West Texas sunset to enjoy Sing 2, spend time with family and friends, and take in all this beautiful park has to offer.

It was especially great to hear from community members who were excited to have a fun, family-friendly event right in their own part of town.

Vendors: Showcase your business, serve up something delicious, pass out candy or bring a fun fall-themed activity for families to enjoy.

A closer look at the new Odessa Sports Complex!

The first installment of “Inside the Sports Complex” gave sports planners and future facility users an exclusive look at what’s ahead.

Attendees heard from the City of Odessa and Sports Facilities Companies about project updates, the vision for the complex and the opportunities it will create for sporting events, tournaments, meetings and group business.

Guests also took a virtual tour and learned more about the layout and future uses of the facility.

We’re excited to continue sharing the progress as the Odessa Sports Complex takes shape!

A First Look at Amy’s Park!

Take a look at the renderings for the future Amy Bell Memorial Children’s Park, affectionately known as “Amy’s Park.”

The approximately eight-acre park at the new Odessa Sports Complex will feature playgrounds, a splash pad, cattle pen maze, shaded pavilion and special touches honoring the Parks Bell Ranch.

Made possible through a generous $3.6 million pledge from Ellen and Larry Bell and the Parks Bell Foundation, the park will be a living tribute to Amy Bell and her love for children.

Amy’s Park will carry forward her “Pay It Forward” spirit, creating a place where families can play, gather and make memories for generations to come.

Today marked the first of a series called “Inside the Sports Complex.”

The event offered sports planners and future facility users an exclusive look at what’s ahead for the new Odessa Sports Complex.

Attendees heard from the City of Odessa and Sports Facilities Companies about project updates, the vision for the facility and the opportunities it will create for sporting events, tournaments, meetings and group business.

While construction is still underway, attendees also had the opportunity to take a virtual tour, learn more about the size and layout of the fields, and see how the facility can be utilized in the future.

We’re excited to continue sharing the progress as the Odessa Sports Complex takes shape!
