Ector County Stands with Midland 💙

Today, our hearts are with our neighbors in Midland as they face the aftermath of a tragic act of violence that has left lives forever changed. We mourn those who lost their lives, pray for the recovery of those who were injured, and hold their families and loved ones close in our thoughts and prayers.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, medical professionals, and all first responders who answered the call with courage, professionalism, and compassion during this difficult time. Their dedication to protecting and serving our communities is nothing short of extraordinary and encompasses the very notion of what it means to be a West Texan.

The bond between Midland and Odessa runs deep. In moments like these, we are reminded that West Texas is stronger when we stand together. Ector County stands in unwavering support of the Midland community as they heal, recover, and move forward.
