Today members of the Odin Fire Department participated in a Tractor Rollover Rescue Training exercise.

Agricultural emergencies present unique challenges, and tractor rollovers remain one of the most serious incidents first responders may encounter in our rural communities. During today’s training, firefighters practiced scene stabilization, patient access, extrication techniques, and teamwork in a controlled environment to better prepare for real-world emergencies.

Training like this allows our members to safely develop the skills and confidence needed to respond when our community needs us most.

A big thank you to SASCS for providing training classes like these and Ormsby Fire for participate in this valuable training opportunity. Continuous education and hands-on training are essential to keeping our firefighters and EMS personnel prepared for any situation.

Stay safe and remember to always operate farm equipment responsibly and use all available safety equipment.

📣 Gun Bingo Update

With most of the weather not expected to arrive until Sunday, we are still planning to move forward with Gun Bingo as scheduled.

Our goal is to keep the event moving so everyone can still make it home before midnight, even if you have a 2-hour drive.

We’re looking forward to a great night—hope to see everyone there! 🎯
