We 💖 our volunteers!

AmeriCorps RSVP of Weber, Morgan, and Box Elder Counties had our annual luncheon on August 18th & 19th to celebrate our amazing volunteers, all 498 of them!

This year, we had many volunteers meet their years of service milestones.
• 25 years: 1
• 20 years: 3
• 15 years: 12
• 10 years: 22
• 5 years: 30

Our volunteers are the best around, having served a combined 98,360 hours in total. To put that into perspective, that's over 11 years' worth of work done by our volunteers in 1 year. Way to go!

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped make our community stronger, safer, and more loved through their selfless service efforts. You are all appreciated and loved.

We are excited about the upcoming Stepping On (fall prevention) workshop. This really is such a fantastic workshop! Seniors at previous workshops have attended nearly every session and speak very highly of their experience! The workshop covers a variety of factors that can lead to a fall; things like medications, vision, shoes, pets, home safety, etc. We bring in a guest speaker to nearly every session.

This is a free workshop and will be held at the North View Senior Center starting Tuesday, 8/11/2026. 1-3pm

Supplies for Students = Tickets for You! Team up with Weber Human Services Prevention to support local kids and score Raptors game tickets. (game day August 12th)

It's back to school time and that means school supplies! Weber Human Services Prevention are taking donations of school supplies in return, you can get Raptors game tickets for Wednesday, August 12th at 630 pm.
