Grand Opening!

The public is invited to the grand opening of the Don Williams Golf Course Clubhouse on Monday May 18, 2026 at 11am.

A pizza tasting of all the new pizzas will be available and refreshments. After the grand opening and a tour of the new building, a tour of the golf course on the golf carts will be held. If you would like to participate, please RSVP by commenting on this post.

The course will be closed to players for regularly scheduled maintenance on May 18, 2026.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who joined us for Trash Bash 2026!

✅ 2 miles of trail cleaned.
✅ 8 large trash bags filled.
✅ 2 tires removed from streams.
✅ 1 great day to be outside!

Join us for an afternoon of giving back! Tomorrow, Saturday 4/25, from 12:30pm - 3pm. No need to RSVP. Meet us at the Grants Woods Parking lot near the High Trestle Trail Bridge.

Vests, trash bags, water, and grabbers are provided. Please bring your own gloves.

UPDATE 3/24: Mason City is sold out.
4/2: Ogden is sold out.
4/6: Oelwein is sold out.
4/14: Vinton is sold out.
Mt. Pleasant has only a few trees remaining.

We're partnering with Alliant Energy's One Million Trees initiative to make these tree events possible! Alliant Energy customers can purchase up to two trees per planting address at $25 per tree -- but you must REGISTER FIRST ONLINE before picking up your trees at the event.
