JOIN OUR TEAM AT THE VENANGO TECHNOLOGY CENTER!

The Venango Technology Center is accepting applications for the position of Instructional Aide. Grades 10-12. This position will be grant funded. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with students. Applications must be completed online. Go to www.vtc1.org for link to the application, which will require a letter of interest, resume and references to be uploaded electronically.

Applicant must be able to complete Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances and pass a physical examination prior to employment. This position is anticipated to start in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications will be accepted through June 30, 2026.

After the students received their certificates, administration and special guests presented a variety of awards and accolades to top students to recognize their accomplishments at VTC.

The Harold B. Albright Memorial Achievement Award was presented to Carson Foster for his commitment to honesty, integrity, work ethic, kindness, and responsibility.

The American Legion Scholastic Awards were presented to Azlynn Jones and Jonah Glass by the James M. Henderson Post 32 of the American Legion.

Named as a grand prize winner in the Electralloy Essay competition was Samantha Proper.

The Pennzoil Scholarship and the Harold B. Albright Memorial Scholarship Fund are two $1,000 scholarships used to support students in pursuit of higher education. They were presented to Coleman Huck and Ryleigh Yoder.

The Kevin Lewis Scholarship was presented to a Protective Services student pursuing further education in a field related to fire, safety, or EMS. The recipient was Autumn Wysocki.

Members of the National Technical Honor Society are eligible to apply for the Jon H. Poteat Scholarship. David Miller was selected as a national recipient of this $1,000 award.

Throughout the school year, students are presented with certificates for their positive contribution to the school community. From among those nominations, two were selected as the overall Leave Your Mark awardees: Lexi Hall and Tyler Tenney.

The Rotary Vocational Scholarship is awarded to two students who embody the 4-way Test of the Rotary. Those students were Aidan Faust and Hailey Hartsell.

The Thomas “Tommy” Flinspach Memorial Scholarship Award was given in memory of the 2018 VTC Welding alumni by his parents, Brian and Mary Flinspach. The award was given to Welding student Cole Edwards.

A scholarship was established in memory of lifelong VTC supporter and alumni, Mr. Robert J. Hoover, Jr., and the recognition was presented to Jacob Riddle.
