OCHS ended the first week of school with a student-led pep rally. Athletes were recognized for their participation in fall sports, and students from each grade level went head to head in a variety of challenges! What a great way to celebrate the first week and pump up our student body for tonight’s Route 8 Rivalry! Go Oilers!

Seventh St. Elementary students are LOVING the new Gaga Ball Pit that has been added to our playground! Even in this heat, they are out there having fun! Mrs. Zerbe’s class posed for a quick picture in the pit today!

We’re back!

The classrooms are full, the playground is busy, the cafeteria is buzzing, and our halls have come back to life!

We're having a great first day welcoming our Hasson Hornets back to school. 🐝 From reconnecting with friends and teachers to settling into new classrooms and routines, there are plenty of smiles throughout the building.

Here’s to a great start and an even better school year ahead!

One of our favorite student traditions at OCHS is senior sunrise. Each year, seniors organize to meet each other for their last first day, snapping a photo on the field!

🚶 Hasson Heights Dismissal & Walker Pick-Up Reminder

To help keep dismissal safe and traffic moving smoothly, please take a look at the attached map.

The area marked with the white arrows is used by parent pick-up vehicles, school vans, and other community transportation vehicles. When families walk to parked vehicles within this traffic loop, it can create congestion and make it difficult for vehicles to safely enter and exit.

OCASD is kicking off to a great 2026–27 school year! Last night, our incoming kindergarten students had orientation at Hasson, complete with a bus ride! Faculty and staff were welcomed back today, which included an inspiring address from Mr. John Perricone to motivate and launch us into a successful year.

Orientations and open houses continue throughout the week.
