As we celebrate Independence Day today, Morgan Township Fire Department would like to remind everyone to enjoy the holiday safely and responsibly.

If you are using fireworks tonight, please remember:

• Follow all local laws and safety guidelines
• Keep fireworks away from homes, vehicles, and dry grass
• Never allow children to handle fireworks
• Light one firework at a time and never relight duds
• Keep water or a fire extinguisher close by

Our crews will be available throughout the day and night to respond to emergencies. Help us keep our community safe by making smart decisions while celebrating.

EMS runs - 34
Total number of incidents - 61
MTFD is fully staffed 24/7 365 days a year with a part time staff. Our current members range from FF/EMT, FF/Paramedic , Paramedic only. We stand ready to respond to any emergencies in Morgan Township or our neighboring areas
