“As we’ve said from the beginning, this has been a politically motivated witch hunt driven by the Democrats and a far-left Democrat state attorney in Tallahassee,” Uthmeier said during an event in The Villages.

The report, though, shows it was “allegations of fraud and abuse” made by Rep. Alex Andrade, a Pensacola Republican who led the House probe in the matter in 2025, that led to the grand jury proceedings.

Today we had the pleasure of hearing from Joe Moya, Account Executive of First Light Home Care.

Mr Moya shared that the organization is Nationwide but they cover the Treasure Coast out of Port St Lucie and Vero Beach offices.

They provide home care services for seniors, Alzheimer's and dementia, adults recovering from illness, injury or surgery, veterans and busy families and anyone who needs a little extra help. They offer as little as 1 hour to 24 hour care.

Home Care services include companionship, medication reminders, grocery shopping, lighthouse keeping, respite care and more.

Personal Care includes bathing and grooming, mobility assistance, transfer care, eating assistance and more.

Veterans currently receiving benefits through the VA who need help keeping up with their home or daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating and mobility may qualify with no charge.

They do accept long-term care policies and self-pay. They pride themselves in never canceling an appointment. If an accident occurs, another caregiver is available to fill in.

For more information you can reach Mr Moya at 305-496-1071. [email protected] TreasureCoast.FirstLightHomeCare.com

Please join us on Thursdays at Lakeside Grill at noon to hear from leaders in our community, fellowship and make new friends.

Although this may have been for a good cause anytime, the Brown Cow Sweeter is allowed to participate in an event. It is just a blatant disregard for the children of the community of Okeechobee how disgraceful protect the children first. Mark and Paulette Bragel owners of the Brown Cow Sweetery are pedophiles. Wake up Okeechobee the whole world is watching.
