An 18-year veteran of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office spent years investigating fraud and s*x crimes. Friday, Corporal Donald Valverde, 37, was booked into jail as a suspect.

The charges: two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation plus unlawful s*xual activity with a minor — a child investigators say he knew through a custodial relationship. Sheriff Chris Nocco called the details "absolutely horrendous" and "devious and evil," and said Valverde confessed before begging to take his own life rather than face his former colleagues. He was fired the same day.

The victim is safe. Each count carries up to 15 years.

They need to do this in Okeechobee county however local law-enforcement, and the powers that be will never let it happen because too many of their friends would get swept up in the sting. Wake up Okeechobee the whole world is watching.
