We just filmed the first candidate interview for our Your Choice 2026 Primary Election Coverage!

Throughout May, we'll be interviewing candidates from five races:

• Michigan's 7th Congressional District
• Michigan's 28th Senate District
• Michigan's 73rd House District
• Michigan's 75th House District
• Meridian Township Treasurer

All interviews will be available to the public starting on Monday, June 15, and we will provide more details about how to watch as we get closer.

After a full year of interning, Tuesday marked Sara’s final day with us at HOMTV.

Sara Weiermiller has contributed an incredible amount of time, creativity, and dedication, leaving a lasting positive impact on both HOMTV and Meridian Township. From innovative ideas and engaging social media posts to photography, videography, graphics, and even launching her own series, Township Tails, her work has truly made a difference.

Thank you, Sara, for everything you’ve done. We wish you all the best as you graduate next week from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Storytelling and Media Photography, and as you take the next steps in your journey.
