Summer is here, and we’re getting ready for an exciting season of FREE literacy & STEM fun!

We’ll have hands-on STEM activities and games to community field trips where youth can see STEM in action in the real world! We’ll also host our upcoming Summer of Stories Community Book Fair and giveaways made possible through our amazing Walmart donations!

As we prepare for an exciting summer of literacy, STEM, and community programming, Saturday, May 23rd will be our final regular stop before our summer schedule begins on June 1st!

While we pause our regular route to prepare for summer programming, we’ll still be out at our scheduled community events. We can’t wait to bring even more books, activities, and fun to our youth and families this summer!

A huge thank you to Compudopt for partnering with us to help bridge the digital divide in our community. We’re especially grateful for Gracie and Mike! They were absolutely amazing and such a joy to be around throughout the entire giveaway.

In addition to the 100 computers and 100 tablets distributed, we also gave away 139 books to children and families in the community! Thank you for helping us continue to promote both digital access and literacy. We truly appreciate your support!

We’re officially set up for the free laptop & tablet giveaway in partnership with Compudopt! We also have FREE used books available for families and children while supplies last.

The community center is also serving FREE meals, so come out, connect with the community, and enjoy the evening with us!

Text messages have officially gone out to those selected to receive a free laptop through our partnership with Compudopt!

Although we had more registrations than available laptops, we’re excited to share that additional participants were also selected to receive free tablets. We know the need is great in our community, and we’re thankful more families will now have access to technology.

Please remember: selections were made through Compudopt’s random selection process, and we do not control the final selections. If you were selected, please carefully check your text messages for pickup instructions.

We’re excited to partner with Compudopt once again for another computer giveaway! 💻

Due to the overwhelming response, we received more registrations than available computers. A random computer-generated selection process will be used to choose recipients. Those selected for a laptop will receive a text message and email with pickup time and location details Friday May 8, 2026.

If you are not selected for a laptop, don’t worry — you will still have an opportunity to be selected for a tablet giveaway.

Please note: We do not control the selection process, recipient list, or notifications.
