Monday Night Hot Dog Ministry Our ministry has served love, community and hot dogs since February 2017.

Monday Night Hot Dogs is a volunteer ministry that provides the southwest Oklahoma City area meals, clothing, life resource assistance, and spiritual ministry to those in need.

Things are going as well as can be expected as we continue to practice "safe hotdogging". We are handing out an average of 100 to-go bags every Monday night as continue ministering to those in need as best as we can. At this time there is no definitive date for returning to normal operations as the COVID numbers continue to increase. We are working with the staff at EABC and respect their guidance on utilizing the building. We will try to give everyone a couple of weeks notice once we have a plan for returning to normal.

Thanks to everyone for understanding and for praying for the ministry. We love you all and hope to see you soon! Please be safe!

Here is a serious problem with the hoarding people are doing.
Sam's Club would not allow us to buy more than one package of hot dog weenies today. We are allowed one package per day per membership. We need 360 to feed our needy friends for Monday night. Please pray we find the resources.

Unless the authorities force us to shut down, we will again serve those in need this coming Monday night. As we did last week we will serve to-go meals only and hand them out under the portico outside the front door. Of course, we will take proper precautions but will be happy to greet our friends and serve them with love. Last week most of them were very thankful we were serving as many of their food sources are drying up as organizations shut down. Our partner, EABC, has a strong desire to be of service to their community in this trying time and we will be there to do our part!

Tonight's ministry had a weird feel to it. We handed out 106 bags (320 hot dogs) at the door to folks. We had a table between us and the people so we maintained our 3-foot spacing. We also wore gloves the whole time. I hated not having personal interaction with our friends. It was like looking at babies in the hospital through the glass. We will continue to serve as long as they will let us. People need it now more than ever!
