In a letter sent to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) this week, Sen. George Burns, R-Pollard, expressed his formal opposition to a proposed generation facility in McCurtain County.

Burns urged FERC to join Southeastern Oklahomans and many others in rejecting the proposed facility in McCurtain County to ensure personal liberties and property rights are protected.
