Dolly gave the world countless reasons to smile, sing and dream. 🦋📚

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she also gave millions of children books of their very own — creating storytimes and opportunities to build lasting memories.

Her legacy will live on in every book opened, every story shared and every child inspired to Dream More, Learn More, Care More, Be More™.

We’re honored to help carry her mission forward.

🤝 Parents and teachers are on the same team.

As the school year gets underway, stay connected with your child's teacher. Share what you're noticing at home, ask questions and celebrate your child's progress together.

When the adults in a child's life communicate and work together, children have a stronger support system for learning and growing. đź’›

❤️ You are your child's first teacher.

Every conversation, story, question, game and everyday routine helps your child build the skills they need to learn and grow.

As you are getting into the swing of the new school year, remember: school readiness isn't about being perfect or knowing everything. It's about helping children feel confident, curious, supported and ready to learn.

You've got this, parents! 🎒🌟

Today, we join people around the world in mourning the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s legacy extends far beyond her music. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, she transformed her belief in the power of reading into a worldwide movement that has placed hundreds of millions of books into the hands of young children.

At the Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness, we are honored to help carry that legacy forward here in Oklahoma. Every book mailed to a child’s home, every story shared between a parent and child, and every young reader inspired to dream is part of the extraordinary gift Dolly leaves behind.

Her voice will be deeply missed, but her commitment to helping children Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More will continue to inspire generations to come. ❤️📚

Have you ever asked your pre-schooler about their day and got nothing back? Try getting specific instead! Kids this age remember moments so ask questions about something they can point to — “What made you laugh today?” or “What did you play with today?” That’s usually all it takes to get their stories flowing!
