Congratulations to all of our Texas Democratic clients that won contested primaries yesterday: State Sen. John Whitmire, State Reps. Mary Gonzalez, Alma Allen and Carol Alvarado, Sarah Eckhardt for Travis Co. Judge, Travis Co. Commissioner Margaret Gomez, Brigid Shea for Travis County Commissioner, Mary Brown for Judge and Williamson Co. Chair Karen Carter.
We're also excited for our clients that have advanced to run-off elections: Susan Motley for State Representative, Debra Guerrero for Bexar Co. Commissioner, Pauline Medrano for Dallas Co. Treasurer, Michael Orozco for Constable and Sara Martinez for Justice of the Peace.
Finally, it was an honor to work on behalf of Judge Marty Lowy, Judge Chris Wilmoth and State Rep. Lon Burnam. They have all been dedicated Democrats and public servants, and their service will be missed next year. We also want to thank Hugh Fitzsimons and Lyda Ness-Garcia for their campaigns - they're both leaders that we expect will serve with distinction in the future.
