TSET TSET is a state grantmaking trust working to reduce Oklahoma’s leading causes of preventable death. The deal was known as "The Master Settlement Agreement."

In 1998, a historic court settlement held to***co companies financially responsible for the death and destruction caused by their products. To***co companies agreed to begin reimbursing states for healthcare costs incurred by to***co-related diseases. In 2000, Oklahoma became the first state to protect its Master Settlement payments through a constitutional amendment. The result was TSET, the To**

*co Settlement Endowment Trust. TSET is a state grantmaking trust that works to reduce the leading causes of preventable death in our state – cancer and cardiovascular disease – by preventing and reducing to***co use and obesity. In the years since its founding, TSET has invested tens of millions of dollars to fund improvements in public health. Each evidence-based initiative is designed to address Oklahoma’s most pressing public health issues, while creating healthier places for all Oklahomans to live, work, learn and play. Westville is making it easier for adults to stay active and healthy right in their own backyard.

Through a TSET Healthy Incentive Grant, the town installed an adult fitness course near the walking trails and children's playground at Westville Park. The addition has quickly become a favorite among residents, creating a space where families can be active together and adults have dedicated equipment to support their own wellness.

A special thank you to Senator Tom Woods and Representative David Hardin for their support of Westville and healthy communities across Oklahoma.
