Wrapping up Week 12 at the Capitol! It’s been a full and productive week as we continue working hard on behalf of Oklahomans across our state.

I was honored to take part in Oklahoma 4-H Day at the Capitol and had such a great visit with Ella Allen of Konawa!

Ella is about to graduate high school, and through hard work and concurrent enrollment, she has already earned an incredible 60 college hours from Seminole State College. What an accomplishment!

She was also part of the 4-H Quiz Bowl Team that placed 4th in the nation last November—an amazing achievement that makes House District 28 so proud. 🇺🇸

I love seeing young leaders like Ella stepping up, working hard, and representing their communities so well. So glad she came to the Capitol to promote 4-H! 💚

Also, a BIG shout out to the Quiz Bowl Team from Konawa! L to R: Chloe Hill, Keigan Hinds, Huey Glasgow, Ella Allen, Schyler Hill These student will do great things!

Great to have J’kub Medrano and Landen Dodge of Asher & Alessandra Hernandez of Shawnee drop by for a dance party. These kids took their free time to come see what state government is doing. Glad to have young people getting involved. And thrilled to see their joy! And here’s to Latoya Marie one of our favorite Legislative Assistants for joining the fun!

Today we celebrated 2026 Graduate Scholars from Seminole State College. Glad to meet Gracie Gates and Kaitlyn Smith to celebrate their accomplishments. Plus got to visit with awesome mom/2nd grade teacher, Becky Gates and our wonderful School Counselor from Butner High School, Alicia Bare!!!!

Avery Wharton, Taylon Elliott, Alivia Wapskineh, and Larron Morris - Thrilled to have you!!!!!! Also had the pleasure of meeting Haddie Lindley and Abagail Tovar. A truly inspiring group!
