The Oklahoma National Stockyards is saddened by the passing of Brigadier General George A. Hall, U.S. Air Force, Retired.
For 27 years, George was a valued part of the Oklahoma National Stockyards family, serving as President and Director for 25 years. His leadership helped guide the Stockyards through decades of change and growth, while his passion for the livestock industry and Oklahoma agriculture never wavered.
George was a leader in every sense of the word — in the military, in agriculture, in business, and most importantly, in the lives of the people around him. His knowledge, character, and dedication left a lasting mark on the Stockyards and on the Oklahoma livestock community.
Those of us at the Stockyards are grateful for the years he gave to this place and the legacy he leaves behind. The impact of his leadership will continue to be felt for generations to come.
We extend our deepest sympathies to George’s wife, Lynda, his family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
George’s service may be over, but his legacy will remain a part of the Oklahoma National Stockyards forever.
Rest easy, General Hall.
