It was a great time of learning and connection at the OKC OSCPA August CPE Luncheon on Thursday, August 20th, at Quail Creek Golf & Country Club!

We were excited to hear from Kurtis Hanni, Owner of Bison CFO, who shared insights on building and delivering successful Fractional CFO engagements.

Kurtis walked us through three key steps for Fractional CFO work engagements:

🔹 Diagnose — Understand the business, identify challenges, and determine where financial leadership can make the greatest impact.
🔹 Implement — Put the right strategies, systems, and solutions into action.
🔹 Advise — Provide ongoing guidance and strategic insight to help businesses make better financial decisions.

Giving back to our community is an important part of who we are.

On July 25, our OKC OSCPA team had the opportunity to volunteer at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, helping support their mission of fighting hunger across our state. It was a rewarding day spent working together, serving others, and making a positive impact in the lives of Oklahoma families.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with such an incredible organization and proud of our team for dedicating their time to serve our community.

We had a great time at our July OKC-OSCPA Chapter Luncheon!

Thank you to Greg Starling for sharing practical ways CPAs can use AI more effectively. Attendees left with ideas they can apply immediately to improve prompts and streamline daily work.

We were also honored to recognize several Oklahoma City-area members who received various Oklahoma Society of CPAs awards this year. Congratulations to this year's honorees, and thank you for the positive impact you're making on our profession and community!

We had a great time at our May OKC-OSCPA chapter meeting!

Bryce Jones shared valuable insights on leadership, sales, payroll, and building meaningful relationships—all while keeping us entertained along the way. It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow CPAs and professionals in the Oklahoma City area and share a laugh.
