For 13 years, he’s been supporting kids and staff and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s National Dog Day, and we’re celebrating our favorite four-legged CASA team member, Rooster! 🐶❤️

As our therapy dog in training, Rooster brings comfort, smiles, and a little extra joy to everyone he meets! We’re so lucky to have him reminding us that sometimes, a wagging tail and a little love can make all the difference. Give Rooster some love in the comments!

Meet Nelisiwe, our Volunteer of the Month! 🌟 Nelisiwe became a CASA volunteer nearly two years ago because she had a heart for children and wanted to use her time in a meaningful way.

One of her most memorable moments as a CASA was watching her kiddo grow and develop despite his circumstances. "It was inspiring to see him reach milestones like walking and talking and really start to thrive as a child," she said.

Her advice to new volunteers is to see the case through: "You might not see an immediate impact, but you may be the only consistent person in that child's life. Your presence and advocacy can make a meaningful difference."

Outside of CASA, Nelisiwe enjoys being in nature and hiking. We're so grateful for her passion and commitment to our mission! Let's hear it for Nelisiwe! 👏
