SPUD-1839 is about more than Jesus House and a new building.

Jesus House clearly needs a new facility that is not crumbling around them, but SPUD-1839 is about how Oklahoma City shows up for people in recovery.

SPUD-1839 tells the recovery community that Oklahoma City believes recovery is possible and that people deserve the change to recovery with dignity and respect.

If you support the recovery community and want Oklahoma City to do the same, please add your signature to let city leaders know that people in recovery deserve to be a vital part of our city.

We are NOT a homeless shelter

We do NOT accept individuals with violent or sexual offense histories

We're a structured, long-term residential recovery program with an application process.

This Sept 15 vote determines how OKC supports recovery for YEARS to come. We need a new facility to continue to treat Oklahomans who are looking to change their lives.

A new Jesus House will allow us to both enhance and focus on our mission, which is:
Jesus House helps individuals overcome substance use disorder, homelessness, and poverty through dignified, accountable, faith-based recovery.

A favorable Oklahoma City Council vote for rezoning will give Jesus House a new home at 5200 Classen Circle in Northwest OKC.

STAND WITH JESUS HOUSE. STAND FOR RECOVERY.

The Oklahoma City Council will vote on September 15 on SPUD-1839, which would allow Jesus House to transform the former Sleep Inn at 5200 Classen Circle into a structured, long-term recovery housing campus.

Jesus House is requesting this rezoning so we can focus our efforts directly on helping community members overcome substance use disorder—with enhanced recovery services and a longer period of support.

The Oklahoma City Planning Commission has unanimously approved the proposed Specific Use Permit. Now, we need the voices of the people who believe in recovery and believe Oklahoma City needs more opportunities for long-term support.

Has Jesus House changed your life?
Has Jesus House helped someone you love?
Do you know someone whose life has been transformed through sober living or long-term recovery?

👉 Please stand with us.
